| Pilots note that the The Sundre
Airport has full information listed in the CANADA FLIGHT SUPPLEMENT. For business or pleasure the lighted 4,285+512ext = 4797ft X 75 hard surface runway 15-33 can accommodate aircraft up to 50,000 lbs such as Bizjet Cessna Citation as well as Twin-Otter, Beech King Air, Dash 8, DC-3, Convair, etc. The 2200ft x 75 grass cross strip 06-24 is available for strong cross winds There is no user fee charge at this Mountain View County owned airport. The Terminal Building accessible by entering ATF, has washrooms, payphone, and Wi-Fi. "Under wing" camping is welcome. There are no paid employees. The airport is 2.5km to the edge of the Town of Sundre where taxi service, hotels, restaurants are available. There is no courtesy car yet. Transportation needs can be supplied by the Sundre Taxi 403-638-8500.
